Zsa Zsa Gabor Resting after Surgery

Gabor has been hospitalized repeatedly since July 2010.

After undergoing surgery in Los Angeles Saturday, 94-year-old Zsa Zsa Gabor is resting and could return home in a few days, according to her husband.

Frederic Prinz von Anhalt said doctors at UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center reattached a tube that had come lose and successfully stopped bleeding.

The socialite had lost consciousness Saturday at her Bel-Air home and was rushed to the hospital. The 94-year-old actress had been given antibiotics for an infection in preparation for surgery, her husband said.

Von Anhalt, who announced he was running for mayor of Los Angeles Thursday, said Gabor’s fever is down and she has opened her eyes but is not speaking. He calls his wife a "fighter'' and says he's "very optimistic.''

Gabor has been hospitalized repeatedly since falling out of bed and breaking her hip in July 2010. She had a leg amputated in January.

Gabor appeared in a handful of films, but has been most famous for playing the role of herself on talk shows, game shows and at times the news.
