Real Life Bambi and Thumper Play Together in Adorable Video

    Step aside, Disney -- Mother Nature's got this animal cuteness covered!

    A real baby deer and bunny in Colorado seem to have tapped into their inner-Bambi and Thumper, and fortunately for all of us, their playful fun has all been caught on camera.

    YMCA of the Rockies posted a video of the fawn (whom they've nicknamed Bambi) and rabbit (nicknamed Thumper) to its Facebook page Tuesday. According to local NBC affiliate 9NEWS, the unlikely pals played for 30 to 40 minutes together outside the Lula W. Dorsey Museum, which is part of the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park.

    This wasn't a one-time get-together for Bambi and Thumper either. Various staffers tell 9News they've seen the animals hanging out together every day. Is it too much to hope these two stay friends forever and don't have a sad ending like their cartoon counterparts?
