When Jimmy Fallon takes over "The Tonight Show" in 2014, millions of viewers who don't stay up quite late enough to catch his "Late Night" show will get their first look at his quirky sense of humor. What will they find? We've collected some of our favorite Fallon sketches so everyone knows exactly what to expect from "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon":
Slow-Jamming the News with Barack Obama: We've heard President Obama talk about the high cost of education before, but never quite like this — with the Roots playing some funky jams in the background, and Jimmy Fallon echoing "Prizz-ey of the Hizzey" in a laughable baritone.
Whip My Hair: Fallon is a terrific impersonator, and one of his best impersonations is of Neil Young. Combine that with Bruce Springsteen (playing Bruce Springsteen circa "Greetings from Asbury Park") and a Willow Smith song, and this is what you get:
Downton Sixbey: Fallon's had success with a series of sketches parodying TV shows. One of his best is a parady of "Downton Abbey," complete with British accents, a bad Kardashian buttocks joke and, of course, intrigue over who the heir is to Downton Sixbey (Fallon's show is filmed in Studio 6B).
History of Rap: Jimmy Fallon + Justin Timberlake = gold. With some Beastie Boys, Run DMC, LL Cool J, 2 Live Crew and more, Fallon and Timberlake take us through the history of rap in a terrific medley. Here's the fourth installment of the series:
Real Housewives of Late Night: In another of the great Fallon TV spoofs, the "wives" of Fallon and a handful of cast members take the studio by storm. Well, all except Yvonne, who was not invited. Drama ensues — and Andy Cohen would be proud. And yes, there's another bad Kardashian buttocks joke.
