Zac Efron, With Butterflies, Surprises Simone Biles and ‘Final Five' in Rio

"Simone is having a total heart attack right now," Aly Raisman said on Facebook Live after meeting Efron

After defending their team all-around Olympics title and medaling in every gymnastics event, the "Final Five" members of the U.S. women's gymnastics team were given a memorable surprise by Hoda Kotb during a "Today" show interview on Tuesday.

Heartthrob Zac Efron crashed their interview with Kotb. He came to give personal well wishes to the team and specifically to Simone Biles, an Efron superfan and gymnastics powerhouse.

"When I found out that you guys were fans, I was like what am I doing sitting here on the couch I got to come see you and come hang out and support you guys… I immediately got on a plane," said Efron.

"You guys are like America’s heroes right now."

"I'm shaking... (scream)," Biles said after he walked into the room.

But, Efron said he was the one with butterflies.

Biles landed a kiss on the cheek from the actor while taking a selfie and gave the team high-fives.

Efron told Kotb he was immediately captivated by the girls and that they have "such heart." Efron and Biles have been tweeting at each other since Efron became aware of Biles' crush on him.

The final women's gymnastics event ended earlier in the day, with Biles winning her fourth gold of the games and Aly Raisman taking home silver in the women's floor exercise.

With the gymnastics competition officially over in Rio, the team took to Facebook Live to celebrate by answering fan questions and to talk about having just met Biles' biggest celebrity crush.

"Simone is having a total heart attack right now," Raisman said. "She's dying, she usually plays it very cool but she did not… She almost started crying but then she got it together."

Biles has copped to having a crush on the "High School Musical" and "Neighbors" star, and even told NBC's Stephanie Gosk that she's had her own life-size cutout of Efron in her bedroom. They traded pecks on the cheek at the "Today" taping, according to Biles' social media.

"Yeah I like, couldn't keep it cool, I don't know what happened," Biles said on Facebook Live. "It was insane guys."

The team of Biles, Raisman, Gabby Douglas, Madison Kocian and Laurie Hernandez said they will stay in Rio for Sunday's closing ceremony, and until then they'll be relaxing on the beach and visiting the city's famous landmarks, like Christ the Redeemer.

Joking around and answering questions from fans, all agreed that they are excited to go home and take some time off from gymnastics practice.

Raisman said she is happy to no longer have an organized schedule and is looking forward to "doing nothing and seeing my cute little puppies."

"We don't know what's next," she said. "We're just excited to be done. It's a big sigh of relief I think because we worked so hard. We were obviously nervous."

Biles took a moment to answer a question asking if she hopes to try again to win gold in all her events at the 2020 Tokyo games. Biles medaled in all her events in Rio, taking home four golds and a bronze.

"Guys come on, go easy on me," Biles said.

Mostly they were still very excited about having just met Efron, laughing that he will be a major figure in all of their plans for the next few days.

"Partying with Zac Efron, eating with Zac Efon, hanging out with Zac Efron, running on the beach with Zac Efron," Hernandez said.

One fan asked whether they prefer Efron or gold medals.

"Zac Efron," Biles whispered. "But I didn't tell you guys that."
