‘Glee' Actor Mark Salling Arrested on Suspicion of Child Porn Possession

"Glee" actor Mark Salling was out on bail after being arrested Tuesday morning on suspicion of possession of child pornography, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The LAPD's Internet Crimes Against Children unit made the arrest after a warrant was served about 7 a.m. at a home in the 9900 block of Helen Avenue in Sunland, police said.

Salling was held at a downtown Los Angeles jail. He was released after posting $20,000 bail, according to a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department inmate record.

Further details were not immediately available. Messages to Salling's representatives seeking comment have not been returned.

The 33-year-old actor is known for his role as Noah "Puck" Puckerman in the Fox musical comedy TV series "Glee."

A resident of the quiet Sunland neighborhood located about 20 miles north of downtown Los Angeles said he had worked on special effects on "Glee," but had never met Salling.

"We've rarely get to really, unless you're on there for a long time, get to know who the actors really are. But hey, a lot of actors have a lot of secrets," George Zamora said. "It always worries me when one of these guys come out of the woodwork. Sometimes they're friendly people, sometimes they're not."

Earlier this year, Salling was ordered to pay $2.7 million after settling a sexual battery lawsuit with his ex-girlfriend.
