Janet Hubert Slams 'Fresh Prince' Star Alfonso Ribeiro After Reunion Photo

    Aunt Viv is ticked off.

Janet Hubert, the original Aunt Viv of the 90s sitcom “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” wrote a scathing Facebook post about former co-star Alfonso Ribeiro after he posted a reunion photo on Instagram.

The reunion photo did not include her.

Always amazing to spend an afternoon with my Fresh Prince family. Wishing that James Avery was still with us to make this complete.

Hubert wrote in the post that she was not offended that she wasn’t invited to the “Fresh Prince” reunion. But she bashed “Carlton,” calling him a suck-up to Will Smith when they filmed the show. She also accused him of being in desperate need for attention.

Ribeiro posted a picture of the cast on Instagram and wrote, “Always amazing to spend an afternoon with my Fresh Prince family.” The photo included Will Smith, Tatyana Ali, Karyn Parsons, Daphne Maxwell Reid and Joseph Marcell.

James Avery, who played Uncle Phil, passed away in 2013 due to surgery complications. Ribeiro wrote that he wished Avery was still alive to make the photo “complete.”

Hubert wrote on Facebook that there will “never be a true reunion of Fresh Prince” because she has “no interest” in seeing any of her former castmates.

However, this is not the first time she has gone after the “Fresh Prince” cast. She was replaced on the show by Reid after three seasons and has feuded with former castmates, most notably star Will Smith, on prior occasions.

Hubert plans to write a tell-all memoir about her time on the show.
