The Robin Williams Tunnel might be right around the corner.
A Marin assemblyman says he'll push to rename the Waldo Tunnel on US-101 just north of the Golden Gate Bridge in honor of the late comedian.
SFist reports that Marc Levine has the blessing of Williams' family to push for the legislation when the Legislature reconvenes in December.
Renaming the tunnel would fulfill the wish of a petition circulated shortly after Williams committed suicide. The petition has garnered more than 55,000 signatures.
