As the Supreme Court was hearing arguments Tuesday morning on Prop 8, California's ban on same-sex marriage, Hollywood celebs were feverishly weighing in on the debate through social media.

Not only have bold-faced names like Kate Walsh, Padma Lakshmi and Lance Bass changed their profile pics on Facebook to a red version of the Human Rights Campaign logo, but #marriageequality and #prop8 have been trending on Twitter since the early morning.
