Martin Lawrence Reminisces About “Martin” on “Tonight”

The funny actor dished on his old and new TV series

Comedian Martin Lawrence stopped by "The Tonight Show" to talk about his upcoming sitcom, but he also reminisced about his 1990's hit TV show, "Martin."

Lawrence, who starred in the series from 1992-1997, played multiple characters, "that I didn't even know I could do," he said. "I just was put under pressure to perform and do something and come up with things."

Fallon proceeded to show pictures of infamous characters he played including "Dragonfly Jones," and recalled the episode when the character was hurt and tried to dial 9-1-1 on an ATM machine.

When talking about his character, "Jerome," Lawrence and Fallon got up out of their chairs to do the "Jerome Walk."

"That's how he would enter and he would sing his own theme song," said Fallon while laughing, "God, it was brilliant," he added.

Fallon then talked to the "Bad Boys" star about his new show on FX, "Partners," also starring Kelsey Grammar, which follows a mismatched pair of Chicago lawyers.
