The late Queen of Tejano music was honored Tuesday at a ceremony where her family and former husband joined fans to reveal the statue, valued at $350,000.

Abraham Quintanilla - also known as A.B. -- Selena's brother, Chris Perez, Selena's former husband, and Suzette Quintanilla, her sister, said a few quick comments before counting down the unveiling to a cheering crowd.

Standing with her hands on her hips in a bedazzled bustier - no doubt exactly how the humble star would have wanted - the Selena statue didn't feature her signature megawatt smile, but rather a nice comfortable pose.

But fear not - the museum worked with the Quintanilla family every step of the way, from her outfit to her hair and makeup, to make sure the family's input reflected the true Selena.

Her outfit recreated a stage look from Selena's concert held at the Memorial Coliseum in Corpus Christi, Texas - where the singer lived in her early childhood and also home to the Selena Museum - on Feb. 7, 1993. The look is said to celebrate her performance from her Grammy-winning album "Selena Live!"

The big reveal was also in conjunction with the 21st anniversary of her last studio and English crossover album, "Dreaming of You."

And there's no doubt true fans will brave the traffic and miserable parking to the museum located at 6933 Hollywood Blvd. to grab a photo with the icon. As many fans say quoting her hugely popular biopic: "Anything for Selenas."

General admission viewing begins Wednesday at 10 a.m.
