The ‘Star Trek Beyond' Trailer Has Landed

The first official trailer for "Star Trek Beyond"—a German version of it was leaked online a few days ago—is finally here, and it looks like we can expect some serious action, some laughter and, of course, a cast full of amazing A-listers.

Chris Pine, Simon Pegg, Zachary Quinto, and Zoe Saldana will be back for the third installment of the franchise, while Idris Elba (playing Luther) will join the crew for the first time.

Kicking off with the Beastie Boys classic hit "Sabotage"—paying homage to the first film—the trailer pans to each one of the cast members and then rolls into an action-packed montage of the USS Enterprise fighting off asteroids and new species while also showing the personal relationships between the crew, like Spock and Kirk.

Speaking of Spock (played by Quinto), the actor previously told E! News he was extremely grateful to work on the film and cannot wait to see the final cut in theaters this summer.

"Just finished the third 'Star Trek' movie, about to start another movie here, and then I'm doing another play in the new year," Quinto told E! in October. "It was an incredible experience and I'm really grateful to have gone through it and be on the other side of it. I'm really looking forward to next summer when it comes out."

"Star Trek Beyond" will hit theaters on July 22.
