Chris Brown announced Monday he'll release his new CD Dec. 15, his first album since his public altercation with Rihanna landed him in Los Angeles courts on assault charges.

Brown's new album, "Graffiti," will drop Dec. 15, he announced on his Twitter page. Its first single, "I Can Transform Ya," features rappers Lil' Wayne and Swizz Beatz.

"Graffiti" will be released just a month after Brown's "Fan Appreciation" tour kicks off in Houston on Nov. 14.

Brown was involved in a February fight with then-girlfriend Rihanna, whom he beat up after the two had a verbal disagreement in Los Angeles on the way to the Grammy awards.

He's serving five years probation, six months of community labor and a year of domestic violence counseling after pleading guilty to the charge of felony assault.

Rihanna announced earlier this month that she, too, will drop an album -- her "Russian Roulette" will hit stores Nov. 23.
