Now, we CAN tell you how to get, how to get to Sesame Street.

Just take the 1 train to Lincoln Center and walk down to 64th Street.

Starting Tuesday that's where you'll find the famous street sign that has unofficially been a symbol of New York for decades.

In honor of the show's 40th anniversary, New York City has proclaimed Nov. 10, "Sesame Street Day," and will temporarily name a piece of Columbus Ave. at 64th Street in the show's honor.

Sesame Street now has an exact location.

Charles Rosen, the show's designer created the brownstoney, urban set  based on several blocks on the Upper West Side, Harlem and the Bronx. But despite the inspiration culled from New York's landscape, the show was not intended to be New York based.

A possible name for the show, "123 Avenue B" was actually scrapped for being too New York-centric, New York Magazine reported.

First Lady Michelle Obama will appear on the fortieth anniversary show, to talk about eating fresh fruits and vegetables.

Brooklynites can celebrate the kid's program at the Brooklyn Public Library, which will be hosting a three-month-long exhibition of Sesame Street memorabilia.
