It's hard to resist the charms of a party dubbed Schmooz-A-Palooza. We can't, in fact, but we surely won't be alone. The annual merry mixer that welcomes Jewish singles and partiers looking to raise a bit of holiday cheer will once again turn up the tunes come the 24th of December.
But Schmooz-A-Palooza, which is sponsored by JDate.com, isn't the only place for gussied-up revelers to raise l'chaim that night. The Ball once again returns to Avalon Hollywood, bringing a menu of tunes, drinks, and convivial socializing.
Over a thousand partygoers are expected at the SLS to Schmooz it up starting at 8 p.m. Themed cocktails, a food truck, DJs, and overnight discounts on rooms are all on the roster. And, important to note: Even if you're not single, you are still most welcome at the shindig. It's very come-one-come-all.
A general admission ticket is $40.
The Ball up at the Avalon kicks off a half hour later and has an advance admission of $35. It is marking its half-decade anniversary in Los Angeles this year, and attendees can expect music, drinks, and more good times.
Again, both raise the roof on Monday, Dec. 24. Schmooz-A-Palooza's tagline sums it up in charming fashion: "The Biggest Party Since Your Bar/Bat Mitzvah Is Back!" Happy fun times, indeed.
