Sunday, July 17 is your chance to eat dessert first, at your favorite ice cream shop, before digging into the savory three- and four-coursers around town that are part and parcel of dineLA Restaurant Week.
It's true: dineLA, the every-few-months discount-a-rama is back at hundreds of Southern California eateries, and deciding where to land, and when (lunch or dinner) is as easy, or agonizing, as scrolling through the lengthy list.
Deliciously agonizing, of course. You only need pick your date — Monday, July 18 through Sunday, July 31 is the window for this go-around — and find an old favorite or a new place you've wanted to try.
What's on the bill of fare? It depends on where you go. The Front Yard at The Garland in North Hollywood has choices like Thai Town Shrimp Salad and Butterscotch Pudding on its prix fixe lunch menu, while Fig & Olive will offer Lamb Albondigas and Strawberry Vacherin.
Over 300 restaurants are participating in the summer 2016 extravaganza.
As for prices? Your multi-course lunch, depending upon where you go, will run from $15 to $25. Dinner is $29, $39, or $49, with a few special places going all out at $95-plus, as part of the dineLA Exclusive Series.
