Police on Friday announced the arrest of a 44-year-old man for annoying a child on a bus as she was going home from school.
The 13-year-old victim complained the man grabbed her around the waist as the Orange County Transportation bus was taking her home.
Orange County Sheriff's investigators working with Santa Ana Unified School District Police set up a stakeout at 1st Street and Grand Avenue Tuesday and using the girl’s description nabbed Jose Antonio Hernandez of Santa Ana.
Investigators believe there may be other boys and girls who have been victimized by the suspect. Anybody with information on such an incident is asked to call the Sheriff’s Department at 1-866-TIP-OCSD (1-866-847-6273).
