New Lead Announced in Murder of All-City Football Player

Late Tuesday night detectives released surveillance tape they hope will lead to the identification of eyewitnesses in the murder star high school football wide receiver Dannie Farber Jr.

Farber was attending Nathaniel Narbonne Senior High School in Harbor City when he was murdered May 24, 2009, inside a restaurant as he dined with his girlfriend.

Detectives are particularly interested in two women who observed murder suspect Arlon Watson as he ran into the Louisiana Fried Chicken in the 1900 block of Rosecrans Avenue.  Its alleged Watson shot Farber seconds later four times when the victim said declared did not "gang-bang".

Cops need your help with this one.  If you recognize either of the women please call detectives the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500.
