Victim Hit By Amtrak Train in North Hollywood

Remains found on freeway

 

  LAPD investigators Wednesday night were trying find out how a person got killed by an Amtrak train on a bridge in North Hollywood. 
The incident happened around 7:15 pm near Whitsett street.
Police investigators shut down the lanes of the nearby 170 freeway  where some of the victim's remains landed.
Investigators were also trying to identify the victim.
The number three and four northbound lanes were shut down for a few more hours, but traffic was allowed to pass on the open lanes.
