    Ventura Sheriff Composite
Deputies released this composite Friday. The man is suspected of attacking at least 20 women joggers in the past few years in Thousand Oaks.

What police in Thousand Oaks believe was an attempted rape in early November was prevented when the intended victim kicked the suspect and ran away.

The incident occurred November 6th at 8:30 p.m. when the suspect allegedly pushed the woman down.  She had been jogging in the Northwood Place  and Mabrey Court area.

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department says the man intended to rape the woman.

As she managed to get away she got a good look at the man and the provided law enforcement officials with a  description that was helpful in producing a composite of the suspect.   He is described at 6 foot, 2 inches tall weighing 180 pounds.
