Sheriff's Office Employees Allegedly Helped Hells Angels Member: Report

A Hells Angels member is at the center of a conspiracy that led three San Mateo County Sheriff's employees to bring drugs and cell phones into the county jail, according to reports.

The Palo Alto Daily News reports that Dionicio Rafael Lopez, 26, is alleged to have paid a sheriff's deputy and two correctional officers to bring Oxycontin and cell phones into the jail for him. Lopez then used the phones to contact gang members on the outside, according to the report.

Sheriff's Deputy Juan Pablo Lopez -- no relation to the Hells Angel member -- and correctional officers Michael Del Carlo and George Ismael both ended up behind bars on the probe, according to the newspaper.

Distirct Attorney Steve Wagstaffe has charged Dionicio Lopez with four additional felonies.
