NBC 7's Chris Chan reports from the robbery at the exclusive car dealership on La Jolla Boulevard.
San Diego police are investigating a high-stakes heist at a luxury car dealership in La Jolla overnight.
An employee says some very expensive items were stolen from the Symbolic Motor Company on La Jolla Boulevard.
Officers found the front windows of the dealership shattered and broken glass scattered across the sidewalk when they responded to a security alarm call just before 3 a.m. Monday.
The thieves walked past the $200,000 -$300,000 Bentleys and instead honed in on some expensive watches stored behind one of the cars, an employee told NBC 7.
It appears the suspects left with four watches valued at $60,000 each, according to the worker.
It doesn’t appear any of the Bentleys or Lamborghinis in the dealership were damaged in the robbery.
