South Bay Janitor Accused of Possessing At Least 100 Hours of Child Porn on Computer

A South Bay janitor was arrested at work Thursday and charged with possessing child pornography.

Arturo Ruiz Perez, 40, was booked into Santa Clara County Jail on $25,000 bail.

Silicon Valley Internet Crimes Against Children investigators say they traced a suspected computer to a Los Gatos office building where Perez worked. Officers found at least 100 hours of child porn on his laptop, authorities said.

The victims ranged in age from toddler to 12 years old, San Jose police spokesperson Albert Morales said.

Investigators are checking to see if there could be any more victims.
