Woman Steals Home Depot Power Tools, Accomplice Rams Into Security Officer: Pleasanton Police

Pleasanton police are putting the word out about a woman and a male accomplice who they say stole several power tools from a Home Depot and drove into a security officer in a gold getaway car.

Sgt. Eric Gora said the security officer spotted the woman allegedly stealing the tools from the Home Depot at 6000 Johnson Drive about 10:20 p.m. Saturday. When he stopped her in the parking lot, Gora said a man drove up in a gold Lexus or Acura and “intentionally ran into the loss prevention officer knocking him to the ground.”

The woman got into the car and she and her accomplice onto Owens Drive toward Johnson Drive, Gora said.

The security officer hurt his knee and got several scrapes and bruises but is expected to make a full recovery, Gora said.

The woman is described as white, about 25 to 30 years old, standing 5’06” and weighing 160 pounds. She was wearing a light colored shirt, black leggings with glitter and white tennis shoes. The security guard was not able to provide a good description of the man.
