Los Angeles is America's No. 2 Most Stressful City

Sorry, Forbes, try again. Everybody knows we should be No. 1

Los Angeles has been snubbed by Forbes magazine.

The City of Angels was recently ranked as the No. 2 most stressful city in the United States. Excuse me, Forbes, but have you been here?

And which city is allegedly more stressful than LA? According to Forbes, it's Chicago.

Hogwash, we say.

No offense to Chicago, but we challenge anyone from the Windy City to come take a drive on the 101, start an acting career, make an overpriced mortgage payment, or just try to get a reservation at Osteria Mozza.

Not only that, at any moment, the big one could hit and Los Angeles could fall into the ocean. Try living with that, Chicago.

And while you're waiting for the earthquake of all earthquakes to hit, enjoy some wildfires and mudslides. Not to mention, at any moment, we could run out of water. Did we mention a near-bankrupt state government and the looming threat of rolling blackouts?

Our schools are so screwed, they're selling ads. Who does that?

We have bills. Lots of bills. Our homes are over-valued. Our rent prices are at extortion levels. We have to scrimp and save just to pay for our next cosmetic surgery. We drive to and from work knowing we're just one road-rage incident away from catching a bullet.

If we even make it to work. Did you see the sinkhole in Valley Village?

Plus, as if we don't have enough problems, this is the city filled with the craziest of the crazies (read: celebrities). We have to deal with those wackos every day.

And we dare you -- double dare you -- to find a parking spot in Hollywood on Saturday night.

Oh, we're stressed. Real stressed. Way more stressed than Chicago.

So to you, Forbes magazine, we say good day.
