Super Citris Offers Health Benefits

PLACER COUNTY, Calif. -- Mandarin oranges grown in Placer County are called "Super Citrus." Some locals have always believed they felt better after eating them. Now they know why. 

The U.S. Agriculture Department tested the fruit. The findings show that compared to other citrus, Placer County Mandarins had six to seven times the amount of Synephrine, a natural decongestant.

These mandarins are available in stores, online or straight from the growers. You could call them "orange medicine."
