Residents in a northwest Glendale neighborhood are dialing up the heat on a cell tower construction plan.

The plan calls for construction of the T-Mobile tower at 510 1/4 Cumberland -- that's between two residences. Opponents set up a Web site -- getthecelloutofhere.com -- to rally against the plan, which the City Council put on hold.

A public hearing was scheduled for Wednesday night.

Residents said they were notified about the plan in November. They said flyers on their doors stated when and where "Public Construction" would begin, but did not provide details.
