Russet potatoes and roasting pans are cheap at 99 Cents Only stores, but the jokes are priceless.

This week's store ad takes a shot at former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin and that darned shopping spree in the Twin Cities. The ad states, "Sarah Palin: We Buy Excess Clothes To Sell For 99 Cents Only."

The GOP's pre-convention spending on Palin and her family tallied $150,000, according to Politico.com. Many of the items were purchased at Saks Fifth Avenue and Nieman Marcus.

The ad also mentions Jay Leno's CD and book, "If Roast Beef Could Fly." It's billed as a $17.95 value.
