Metro Blue Line customers will need to adjust to service changes beginning Sunday, as construction begins on efforts to integrate it with the new Expo light rail line.

Blue Line service that normally runs every 20 minutes will run every 30 minutes beginning at 8 p.m. until the end of the service day Sundays through Thursdays, according to Metro. Service will not be affected on Fridays and Saturdays.

The disruptions are expected to continue for the next 18 months.

Customers were advised to allow extra time for their trips and check schedules. Information is also available at www.metro.net or by calling (213) 922-6235.
