Crime Spree Hits Silver Lake, Echo Park

Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department are investigating a string of assaults and robberies in the Silver Lake and Echo Park areas of the city.
Police say the victims in each case were lone men attacked while walking on the street.
The 10 robberies have occurred at night and early morning hours over the past two months Investigators believe the suspects are male Hispanics and suspect they are gang members.
In one case a gun was put to the head of a victim while demanding money. In another, a victim was stabbed in the shoulder.
Police do not believe the victims were the subject of a "hate" crime.
