Dr. Drew: “I Hope This Guy Gets Treatment”

"He literally was making explicit plans to kill my children"

Dr. Drew Pinsky can't help but get clinical, even when he and his family are the targets.

Pinsky, the addiction counselor to the stars, said he was the focus of ugly Internet threats.

When it got very personal, police moved in. The suspect, 33-year-old Charles Pearson, was arrested Wedneday night and charged with felony stalking.

"I hope this guy gets treatment because clearly he needs it," said Pinsky of the man accused of stalking his family. "He's probably suffered terribly and we got a dose of it directed our way.

"He literally was making explicit plans to kill my children. And then making threats to my wife that she would have to eat them. Very bizarre. I feel like we're safe now," said Pinsky.

Pearson, reportedly a transient, was being held on $150,000 bail Wednesday night. He was arrested on the campus of Pierce College in Woodland Hills, according to TMZ.

Pinsky went ahead with his "Loveline" radio show Wednesday night.
