Small Quakes Rattle SoCal

A small earthquake struck southern Riverside County, marking the latest in a series of small temblors reported in Southern California.
There are no reports of damage or injuries.
The U.S. Geological Survey said a quake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.6 hit at 5:54 a.m. Monday about 10 miles from the unincorporated community of Anza. The epicenter is about 30 miles southwest of Palm Springs and 50 miles from San Diego.
On Sunday, two small quakes were reported off the California coast. A magnitude 4.3 hit about 14 miles east of San Nicolas Island and was followed by a magnitued-3.6 temblor. Both were deep underwater and caused no damage.
