The Los Angeles Times has cashed in on commemorative front pages and other stuff related to the election of Barack Obama as president.
Times media columnist James Rainey says the paper has collected about $686,000 since the Nov. 4, 2008, election on items including the paper's next-day front page edition, which was sold for $2; there's also an edition of the front page with the headline "IT'S OBAMA," on an aluminum printing plate ($20), a mini-poster ($10) and t-shirts and coffee mugs for $10 each.
