Cops Search for Missing 2-Year-Old, Babysitter

A 2-year-old girl who disappeared from her family's trailer in South Los Angeles remained missing Thursday, and police reached out to the public for help finding the girl and an 18-year-old woman who was watching her.

According to police, Lashiba Joy Berry's father left the girl and her 2-month-old brother with friend Tamara Moore on Tuesday night while he went to run an errand. When Larry Berry returned to the trailer near 70th Street and Grand Avenue, the girl and Moore were gone.

The 2-month-old boy was left alone in the trailer.

Lashiba was described as 3 feet tall and weighing 45 pounds. She was last seen wearing pink and orange pajamas.

According to police, Moore is known to frequent the area of 103rd Street between Figueroa Street and Western Avenue.

Moore was described as 5-foot-8 and 140 pounds with tattoos under both eyes, and a tattoo of the name "William" on the back of her neck.
