Real Gun Found on “Law and Order: Los Angeles” Set

The discovery of a real gun brings real police to the scene of the shoot in Culver City

LAPD officers visited the set of "Law & Order: Los Angeles" Wednesday after the discovery of a real gun.

Series spokeswoman Pam Golum said a cameraman spotted the gun on a rock during the shoot Wednesday in Culver City.

The semiautomatic handgun was in working order, according to an LAPD spokeswoman. Karen Rayner said the weapon will be test-fired, then results will be logged for possible crime matches.

Actors Skeet Ulrich and Corey Stoll were on location for the scene in which they arrest a man for murder.
