A water-main rupture in Van Nuys left some residents and businesses without water overnight, authorities said.
The pipeline broke on Woodley Avenue near Hart Street about 10:15 p.m. Tuesday, said Stephanie Interiano of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.
Several apartments and business along Woodley Avenue were left without water, and traffic was routed around the area while crews worked to repair the main and fix the roadway.
Service was expected to return Wednesday evening.
