Lindsay Lohan's home in Hollywood Hills was burglarizied by thugs who ripped a safe off her wall and stole her high-priced fashion accessories in what her dad believes is an "inside job," according to reports.

The starlet's mother, Dina, said Lindsay is upset about the break-in, which she reportedly discovered when she came home early this morning to find her mansion ransacked and her personal belongings missing.

"She is okay, but upset," Dina told People.com.

"The safe was ripped out of the wall, and the door was off the hinges and door handles removed," mom Dina told the magazine. "Bags, shoes and jewelry were taken too. Thank God she wasn't home."

LiLo reportedly called her father once she saw her pad had been ransacked, according to the gossip website TMZ. He claimed the robbery was "an inside job" because the alarm was never activated.

"I am not going to put up with individuals violating my family," Michael Lohan told TMZ. "This is a personal violation and it has got to stop."

Mom Dina said the starlet was planning to move from the California home before the incident.

"(Sister) Ali and Linds just left me in New York, and left people in charge to pack, as we are moving her to a safer place."

Lindsay came home around 3 a.m. and discovered her mansion had been ransacked and called her father. Police said they got a call sometime before 7 a.m. to report a possible break in but no arrests have been made.

In May, cops were called to the address after surveillance video showed what looked like an attempted break-in.
