OC Pastor Accused of Kissing Teenage Girl

SANTA ANA, Calif. -- A San Clemente church pastor was charged Wednesday with lewd acts for allegedly kissing a 14-year-old parishioner passionately on the mouth on more than one occasion, authorities said.
Ricardo Avalos Maffey, 42, of Santa Ana, was charged with three felony counts of lewd acts upon a child between the ages of 14 and 15, said Farrah Emami of the Orange County District Attorney's Office.
Maffey met the girl through his role as pastor at Apostolic Christian Church and, between May and August, is accused of violating his position of trust by engaging in illegal sexual contact with her, Emami said.
He is accused of passionately kissing the girl on the mouth on multiple occasions, and contacting her several times to meet and engage in kissing, Emami said.
She said anyone with additional information about the pastor's alleged contact with the girl, or who believes they also have been a victim, was asked to contact Randy Litwin, supervising investigator with the District Attorney's Office, at 714-347-8794.
