Police Seek Help in Identifying Pot Clinic Shooters

They Have Surveillance Photos of Suspects

The three suspects who shot two employees at a Northridge marijuana dispensary probably thought they had escaped with the surveillance equipment thereby hiding their identities.

But they were wrong.

Police said Thursday the suspects made off with an old VCR, not the right equipment so police now have clear photos of the trio, but they do not have their names.

The apparent robbery attempt at the White Oak Healing Center, a pot dispensary in Northridge occurred late on December 15th.

The suspects critically wounded the two employees inside the dispensary.

The employees, Elias George, 21 of Van Nuys and Shakall Fuqua, 34 of Reseda, remain hospitalized in intensive care.

West Valley Commanding Officer John Egan told a news conference, "the suspects thought they had taken the surveillance video, but they had not."

He went on to say, "we are hoping somebody recognizes these suspects. We need the public's help."

While robbery appeared initially to be the motive in the attack, police were not certain this was the motive since only a small amount of money and marijuana were taken.

Robbery, police said, may have been incidental.
