A 10-car crash that left at least nine people hurt snarled Friday night traffic on the San Diego (405) Freeway in Hawthorne, officials said.
The crash happened about 10:05 p.m. just south of El Segundo Boulevard, LA County Fire officials said.
Eight people had minor injuries, and one person was critically hurt, officials said.
Lanes reopened by 11:16 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
