A person was struck and killed on the 101 Freeway early Tuesday just north of downtown Los Angeles.
Details regarding the crash were not immediately available, but authorities said the victim was likely walking or running across the freeway.
Two lanes were closed near Vermont Avenue for the crash investigation. The crash was reported at 5:40 a.m. and lanes reopened more than one hour later.
