2 Men Injured, Baby in Critical Condition After Car Collision in Lincoln Heights

Two men and a 3-month-old baby were taken to hospitals Saturday after one vehicle veered onto the wrong side of a two-way street in Lincoln Heights and collided head-on with another, authorities said.

The collision happened at approximately 5 p.m. in the 3800 block of North Broadway, the Los Angeles Fire Department's Margaret Stewart said.

The driver eastbound on Broadway veered into the westbound lane and collided with another vehicle, Los Angeles Police Department Lt. Melody Hainline said.

The man whose car veered into the westbound lane suffered a wrist injury, Hainlein said.

The man driving the westbound car suffered a broken leg and the baby was reported in critical condition when taken to the hospital, Stewart said.
