2 Off-Campus Armed Robberies Reported Near UCLA in Westwood

The suspects, both wearing gold teeth grills, brandished a pocket knife and a handgun

Two suspects committed two armed robberies near UCLA in Westwood early Saturday morning, according to the UCLA Police Department.

Multiple victims reported that just before 1 a.m. Saturday at 456 Landfair Ave., two men brandished a pocket knife and a handgun and demanded their property.

Moments later at 516 Glenrock Ave., a second robbery occurred with another group of victims.

None of the victims -- who were described as UCLA students and non-university affiliated -- were injured, UCLA police said.

The two men were last seen heading southbound on Glenrock Avenue.

They’re both described as black males in their 20s who were wearing gold teeth "grills" during the robberies.

The first suspect is believed to be 5 feet 6 inches tall with a skinny build. He was wearing a black hooded sweater with a red hood and was armed with a handgun.

The second suspect is 6 feet 2 inches tall with a skinny build. He was also wearing a black sweater, but he was armed with a pocket knife.

The incident is currently under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department.
