Couple Dead in FedEx Parking Lot Murder-Suicide

    A husband and wife were found dead in a parking lot in a Santa Clarita Valley community on Sunday night in what authorities determined was a case of murder-suicide.

    The discovery was reported just before 9 p.m. in the area of 24900 Pico Canyon Road in a Stevenson Ranch FedEx parking lot, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s officials said.

    The couple, both were in their 50s, arrived at the FedEx business in separate vehicles and entered the store, according to investigators. They left the store together before the husband gunned down his wife and then shot himself, investigators said.

    The weapon was found at the scene, according to the sheriff's department.
