Caught on Camera: 2 Women Sought in Glendale Restaurant Burglary

Police are seeking the public's help to identify two women who were caught on camera burglarizing a Glendale restaurant last month.

Surveillance video released Monday, showed the pair inside Mamita Peruvian restaurant in the 700 block of Brand Boulevard on May 31, according to the Glendale Police Department.

The women were seen walking down an alleyway-- one carrying what appeared to be a plastic bag and the other with a blanket over her shoulders-- when they entered the restaurant. Once inside, they approached the register and removed cash as well as a knife before running off northbound on Brand, according to to Glendale police.

The women were described as being 18 to 25 years old. One of them was wearing jersey-type shirt with the number "89" in the front, police said.
