About a quarter of a million dollars worth of Los Angeles Dodgers, Rams and Angels counterfeit jerseys were seized at an El Monte tattoo supply business, officials said.
The seizure was made Thursday after a search warrant was served at TNS Tattoo Supply at 9866 Garvey Avenue.
The Los Angeles County sheriff's Counterfeit and Piracy Enforcement Team had spent a month investigating sales of counterfeit jerseys throughout the San Gabriel Valley area, according to the Sheriff's Information Bureau.
Authorities found approximately $250,000 worth of counterfeit jerseys with LA Dodgers, LA Rams, and LA Angels logos printed on them.
One suspect was detained and was being questioned, but no arrests were immediately announced.
