3 Children Among Injured in Fatal Car Crash

Authorities said one car ran a stop sign and struck another car

One person was killed and five others were hospitalized after a car crash in Lancaster on Saturday. Three children were among the victims, Los Angeles County fire officials said.

The crash took place about 6:45 p.m. at the intersection of 25th Street East and Lancaster Boulevard when one car ran a stop sign and struck another car, authorities said.

The children were airlifted to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Two adults were taken to Antelope Valley Hospital. The extent of their injuries was unclear.
