A preliminary 3.7-magnitude earthquake struck the Twentynine Palms area on Wednesday evening, the U.S Geological Survey reported.
The temblor hit at 5:18 p.m. about 13 miles south of the San Bernardino County city.
There were no immediate reports of injuries or damages.
