A 4-month-old boy's death in Lancaster was under investigation Monday morning.
The Los Angeles County Coroner's Office office identified the infant as Jordan Murphy.
He was transported from the 44000 block of Division Street to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at about 3 p.m. Sunday, according to coroner's office and the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
An autopsy was pending to determine his cause of death, said coroner's Assistant Chief Ed Winter.
Sheriff's deputies were investigating the infant's death. They are asking anyone with information about the incident to call 323-890-5500.
