4 Suspects Arrested in Connection to Ongoing Mail Thefts in Fontana

Four suspects were arrested in connection to ongoing mail thefts in Fontana, officials said Monday.

Duane Goad, 43, Brittany Gund, 23, Forrest Rowe, 45, and Gregory Osborne, 48, were arrested Thursday after an investigation led to a search warrant at a motel room in the 1300 block of N. E Street and a second residence in San Bernardino, the Fontana Police Department said.

Police located over 500 profiles containing true identities, stolen checks, social security numbers and other financial information.

Tools for altering and creating fictitious checks were also found, including printers, computers, black check stock and ink, according to police.

Goad was arrested for violating terms of his probation. Gund and Rowe were arrested for conspiring to commit mail theft and identity theft. Osborne was arrested for $1,000,000.00 in warrants.

Authorities contacted the US Postal Service.

All four suspects were booked at West Valley Detention Center. Gund, Goad and Rowe face charges for identify theft, receiving stolen property, fraud and conspiracy.
