Rush Hour Traffic Snarled on 405 Freeway After Brush Fire

    A brush fire on the 405 Freeway forced the closure of at least one lane during rush hour traffic, according to the California Highway Patrol.

    One lane was closed at Sherman Way in Van Nuys about 6:30 p.m., officials said.

    The fire was knocked down by 6:50 p.m., officials said.
